    Description

    I decided to take up cross stitch again after about eight years to do something different in addition to crochet.  And with the new sewing threads I crochet with now, using them for cross-stitch is very fun and unique!
    The designs are a Wintertime Church in a snow globe and a poinsettia on the top and a simple
    vintage design
    butterfly in two different threads on the bottom.
    These were done on an 11 ct. Aida cloth that actually looks more like a very light blue than the white that was advertised when I bought it...  Oh well, since I am using this as practice anyway I went with it.  I used Sulky Blendables cotton thread (and Superior's Halo for the outline on the top row only) and Superior's Razzle Dazzle quality poly/foil multi-strand thread on the lower left butterfly.
    Just wash it if desired as you do for other cross stitching, cool or warm water.  Be gentle in washing and working with the multi-strand metallic thread, it can catch pretty easy on things.
