Antique Needlepoint / Cross Stitch House Squirrels Landscape Framed Handmade

Description

Lovely antique handmade needlepoint picture of a house and landscape with squirrels and flowers. Encased in a beautiful wood frame.
Measures 17.5 inches wide by 21.5 inches tall.
Framing also looks handmade, cloth is pressed into glass with a piece of cardboard which is nailed into the back of the frame. Hangs with a piece of string tied on.
Hard to say when this was made, but it was found with other items that lead me to guess it is from the 1930s. May even be from Germany, as it was packed with other artwork from there.
The cloth has some discoloring on the top as seen in the photos, but is otherwise intact.
