COMPLETED FRAMED CROSS STITCH NAUTICAL SCENE. LIGHT HOUSE, SAILBOATS, SEASIDE

Description

Offering this lovely large vintage cross stitched seaside themed wall art.  This piece appears to be a completed stitchery kit. The framed size is 24 inches wide and 19 1/2 inches tall.  The stitchery itself measures 16 1/2 inches wide and 12 inches tall. About sixty percent of the piece is  cross stitched.  There are some graphic details like the sand and water that are unstitched and pre-stamped with color with stitched accents and shadowing.  This does give some dimensional texture to the piece and the piece is completely finished.  It depicts a seaside scene of Sea Side Cove and the Sea Bass Inn.  It appears to be a New England seascape with a light house and two sail boats  in the background on the water.  This piece has been professionally matted and framed.  The wood frame is white washed and the paper backing is completely intact.  I have not removed the stitchery from the frame.  There are no signs of tear outs and there is even tension in the stitching. The colors appear to be a more muted pastel and the fabric is clean and without staining.  The mat is light blue.  This piece would look great in a lake or seaside cottage.  I consider it to be in excellent condition.
