Description
This listing is for a truly beautiful piece of framed cross stitch. A patchwork crazy quilt softly draped over the arm of a rocking chair is meticulously stitched on a background of linen with a light layer of batting added when framed. The measurements of the frame from outer edge to outer edge are approximately 14 3/4-inches x 12 1/2-inches. The back bears the handwritten word Christmas and the date 1988. There is a tiny tear in the brown paper at the lower left edge of the brown paper backing. Thanks to an email from a viewer, I can now also add that this pattern is entitled "Aunt Verdi's Porch" and the artist is Paula Vaughan. I've attached a photo of the pattern. The pattern is not included in the listing but just shown as additional information.Thank you so much for looking, and I invite you to check my other listings as well. I have several other pieces of exquisite framed cross stitch listed. Purchase one or collect them all!
As you can see in the photo, the colors are soft and lovely and the attention to detail is nicely done making this piece a great gift choice or a nice addition to a collection.
