Counted Cross Stitch Amish Country Views Frame Mat Glass Set of 2 Hand Stitched

Description

This is a beautiful set of 2 framed vintage hand stitched counted cross stitch pictures of rustic Americana country scenes done on 22 count Aida cloth.
The first scene is of an old Grocery store that looks like it could be in an old town from the 1800s with its columns in front and chimney.  The second scene is an old red brick chimney standing all alone except for a couple of trees growing around it. Signs of a bygone era.
The colors of both pictures are primarily shades of gray, tans, green and red. The background is ivory or off white.
The frame on each of them is a medium brown wood frame, and it is  matted with a tan mat. The artwork and mat are protected by a solid piece of glass.
There is already a metal hanger for hanging that is sturdy and ready to be hung, with rubber feet to protect the wall.
These are in excellent condition. The framing, glass, mats, and paper backing are also in excellent condition.
The actual cross stitch piece of the grocery is 4 1/2" wide X 3" tall. The chimney is matted as a circle of about 4" in diameter. They are framed with a medium brown wooden frame cut to a nice elegant (not over or under done) profile, as you can see in the close up.
The fully professionally framed pieces are 8" wide by 6 1/4" tall (grocery) and 7" X 7" (chimney) . Both have the hangar attached and is ready to hang.
These were made with excellent crafts work, even stitching, and attention to detail. If you know cross stitching, you understand how painstaking working on 22 count cloth is and will appreciate the intense labor that went into making these.
This will make a great gift or self indulgent splurge.  Enjoy!
