Finished Framed Needlepoint Cross Stitch Victorian Courting Couple

Finished Framed Cross Stitch Victorian Courting Couple. Condition is "Used".
From a 3rd cousin's estate, these probably date to the 50s.
I took the paper backing off because it was falling apart.
I wiped them down, polished the wood, cleaned the glass -- I had elected *not* to take them out of the frame competely, and to simply disclose that there was lint trapped beneath the glass and a fuzzy filmy haze. I thought I'd take the easy way out, but I finally caved and took them out of the frames competely, soaked and cleaned the glass, gently brushed and vacuumed the cross stitch, and stapled them back into their frames.
I believe the yarn is wool and the frame is cherry. I did notice the frames seemed to be a very nice quality. They are very handsome and could be worth more than the textile for all I know.
They measure approx 6"×8"
