Wonderful vintage framed cross stitch with the Emerson quote " The ornament of a house is the friend who frequents it."  It is on an ivory toned linen, bordered with red and gold and features a village scene and snow covered tree.  The work is professionally framed in red stained wood and under non-glare glass.  The framed size is approximately 17" x 13-1/2".  Condition is used, there are some dings/wear in the wood especially at the corners and the dust paper on the back has a few holes.  Enlarge and look at all photos for more details on condition, design and size.  Please contact if additional information or photos are needed.
