    Description

    Original 1956 - 57 Cissy Yardley Lavender Ad Framed and Matted. In 1956 - 1957  the Yardley Soap and Fragrance Company of London wanted to appeal to younger ladies. They designed an ad campaign that used the American doll Cissy.  The Madame Alexander Cissy doll was very popular at the time and had a younger feel.  The ads were mostly in magazines.  This is an original ad with Cissy holding a bottle of Yardley Lavender.  The ad is in excellent condition - no tears or folds.  The ad has been matted and framed.  I have added a close up of the frame. The frame is in excellent condition.
