In the beginning of every month you create your own calendar  by entering the dates in the appropriate squares on the glass
The name of the month goes on top, between the two harts
In the end of the month everything is erased and the process starts again.

The lower right corner has a small yellowish spot related to the edge of the item (hard to see)
