This listing is for a lovely folk art piece I purchased years ago at a gift shop. It is a framed piece that featured a cut out heart backed with a snippet of a vintage patchwork quilt .. paired with another cut out below.. showcasing a small cross stitch pattern that echos the heart shape above. The mat is a nice hunter green, the quilt... browns, creams and rose..the cross stitch snippet.. brown. Perfect for fall!
When researching this, I discovered it had originally been a Laura Conley Folk-Heart Mat kit that was completed and framed. When i took it apart to clean the glass, I did find her stamp on the backing board.
A perfect accessory for any primitive or farmhouse interior!
It is in great condition..
